Libby Larkins
President
Libby Larkins is a Senior studying Hospitality Business with a focus in Hotel Management and Events. Along with being in ESD, she is also a member of HLC. She is the Event Assistant for a local film festival called the Capital City Film Festival. This past summer, she worked as an Operations Intern in Yellowstone National Park. Libby is also one of the Student Assistants for HB 237 Lodging. She is very excited for this year and to see what good we can do for our community.
Kaylee Griffin
Vice President
Kaylee is a senior in the School of Hospitality Business and currently serves as the vice president of Eta Sigma Delta. She recently spent her spring semester studying abroad at César Ritz Colleges in Le Bouveret, Switzerland, where she expanded her global perspective on the hospitality industry. Kaylee has interned at Weber’s Hotel and Walnut Creek Country Club, gaining valuable experience in both hotel operations and club management. She has a strong interest in hospitality human resources as well as private club management. In addition to her leadership role, Kaylee also serves as Director of Marketing for the Hospitality Association.
Emma Heyse
Director of Marketing
Emma Heyse is a Sophomore from Frankenmuth, Michigan with a major in Hospitality Business focusing on Events and Event Marketing with a minor in Public Relations. Alongside serving as the Director of Marketing for ESD, she is the Director of Meetings for the Meetings and Events Club. On campus, she works at the Student Industry Resource Center on the Marketing Team as well as a Digital Communications Assistant for Residence Education and Housing Services at MSU. Over the summer, she was the Events Intern at Frankenmuth River Place Shops. She is excited for all that is to come this year!
Carson Gustafson
Director of Finance
Carson Gustafson is a senior majoring in Hospitality Business. He's from Portage, Michigan and has worked at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts the last few summers. He hopes to go into resorts/themed entertainment in the Hospitality industry!
Clare Wilson
Director of Communications
Clare is a senior studying Hospitality. She is from Kalamazoo, MI. Other than ESD she is also the director of communications for HLC. She plans to pursue a career in hotel and casino management.
Kerrigan Collins
Director of Philanthropy
Kerrigan Collins is a Hospitality Business student at Michigan State University. She is a senior, and is from Royal Oak, Michigan. She is interested in club/event management and/or merchandising in the future. Along with ESD, she also works as the operations lead this year for the Broad Care Center! In her free time, she likes to be outside, watch movies, and loves traveling. She is so excited for this year!
